Wahoo!!

I am ALIVE!! Wahoo! It has only been like 2 weeks since my last post so I thought I oughta share my life with someone!! HA HA OK So we made it through the shopping business of christmas for the kids (well most of it) and now it is time for Mike and I to do a bit of fun-ness! I am planning a night out for us, without him knowing! So exciting... but I am still trying to not get busted...cuz he asks all sorts of questions in a roundabout way, trying to get me to tell him what i've got planned! I'm really trying to not give in so all i've told him is to be ready at 10 o'clock on Sat. morning. P.S. Take into consideration that I have to work at 5 AM on Saturday. So long day for me, but it'll be worth it since this is the week that I don't see Mike for more than 2 minutes...since i've been working from 5-1 daily for Christmas $$$$. And Mike leaves for work as soon as I get home and he gets off at 10, but I'm so exhausted from getting up early then being a MOM by myself all day that 9 times out of 10 my sorry butt is in bed almost as soon as Quinlan lays down! SO.....
Well here is the plan....my sister is coming to stay with the kids at 10, then my neighbor is taking Jordyn to basketball at 11. At 1:30 my friend Malinda is gonna take Maycen to her basketball. When my dad gets off work, he is gonna take my mom to lunch then come relieve my sister. Well Mikes Mom is taking my girls out for a bit of shopping and eating and whatever else you do on an outing with Grandma O. LOL!! When they are done with that excursion, my dad is gonna take the girls home with him and my mom is gonna stay at my house with Quinlan! Yikes....I hope Mike realizes how much I am really trying to make this a fun outting for us!!
Ok so Mike and I are first gonna look at tattoo shops! (I want stars on the top of my feet!) Then I want to get a few books at Barnes and Noble....needless to say that it is right next door to Old Navy! :) and on our way to the gateway to the Ipod store (cuz' all i asked for for Christmas is and Ipod, Mike wants a new coat and another tattoo)! Then off to the new store called Steve and Barry's. We went to this store when we made our trip to disneyland everything in the store was like $7 Awesome!!! Mike only has like 4 pair of Levi's all from this place and he can't seem top find any that he likes so..? If we have time I wanna go to the factory stores in Draper but that might have to be a Sunday morning to-do! We'll see!
Well I have also made reservations at the resteraunt the Melting Pot. (I highly recommend this place...crazy expensive, but well worth it once a year) Then we are staying at a hotel in salt lake (haven't decided where for sure) and then we're gonna have crazy sex......and SLEEP IN!! I'm very excited about that part! (which one??) stay tuned!! HAHA So that's my story!!

She'll leave notes all over the house for Mike and I, saying how thankful she is and how much she loves us! She left these on our pillows so I would find them when I got out of the shower! Such a doll!

MONEY MONEY MONEY AAAH

Need I say more? holy cow, I hate this time of the year, money wise anyway! Well I just started working more hours so I could earn some spending $$ for Christmas and to also finish paying off the girls' tonsil bills, right?? Well I called to get our furnace green stickered and the furnace man takes one look at our furnace and is wondering why none of us are dead! AAH Considering our furnace is apparently 50-60 years old, he said that there wasn't an intake (blah blah blah, it goes right over my head) so all of the bad air is recycling through our house!? Oh and our gas valve was broken and our furnace is so old they don't even make that brand anymore so guess what?? And that our old furnace was only like 40-50% efficient. So half of what we've paid for in the last 6 years has gone straight outside! Kinda makes me angry butta...whatya do? Oh thats right..... WE HAVE TO FORK OUT $1400 FOR A NEW FURNACE! OH Did I mention that Christmas is almost 1 month away and the girls are at a stage that both Mike and I are stumped on what to get them so we were thinking a four wheeler! Well I think we've thrown that out the window......so I hope Santa shows up this year!!!

Cuteness

Fun days at the photobooth!! I honestly haven't done one of these since high school. Maycen really was in the one with Jordyn and Quinlan but she was cut off so she got to do one all by herself. Wahoo! GOOD TIMES!!
This was honestly such a challenge to try to get them in this position cuz' in my head it was easy butta.....to explain how to make a sideways T plus Q didn't wanna hold still. Yikes!!! But they sure are cute anyway!

PUT ME IN MY PLACE!!!

Ok so I played volleyball for the church and it was to go to region ....right? Well being the competitor that I am, I played like crap and we lost. Well while walking home my daughter Jordyn didn't was complaining about carrying her water bottle so I kinda ripped it out of her hand and we kept walking. Well about 4 steps later I realized I was outta control..stopped and apologized to her. Bless her heart she said it was fine! Well I went on explaining and told both of my daughters that I was kinda mad for not winning and not playing well. So my little Maycen says, "Mom why are you so upset, it's just a game!" Oh man she totally put me in my place which is what I needed. Thanks girls! I love you so much! And I am very blessed to have the two most wonderful daughters ever!!
